For as long as I can remember, delicious food and meaningful mealtime has been the center of, well everything. So many of my core memories are tied to times in the kitchen with those I love most. Circling a table with wholesome dishes, vibrant conversation and limitless laughter. It should have surprised no one when I decided to go into the restaurant and hospitality industry, even at the young age of 16.
Nearly 15 years later, I had poured myself into that work time and time again. Providing services in restaurants, bars, and coffee shops during those years. Becoming a wife and mother along the way, I took a step back from full-time and began working part-time. In 2020, like many others, I lost my job due to the pandemic. At that point, I decided that my career in the restaurant industry had come to a full stop but not forgetting all I had learned along the way.
And we've now lived here for almost two years. I became a stay-at-home mom for the foreseeable future as well as taking on the responsibility of homeschool for our three darling girls. In the midst of it all, my love of home, learning and family mealtime have only strengthened, showing up in the recipes and all the household goodness you'll find here.
I am so excited to share my heart with you in this space and hopefully leave you encouraged in the home and inspired at mealtime.
Thank you for being here with me!
